Supported partial vehicle alternatives can appear in the existing possibleConfigurations array. An unavailable engine code uses the reserved string UNKNOWN, and coverage: "partial" means the list is not exhaustive.

Compatibility impact: this is a deliberate exception to the usual v1 compatibility policy. Strict parsers and clients with engine-code enums or exhaustive object schemas may need an update. Exact specifications, subscriptions, and decode billing are unchanged.

Integration action: review the API reference and accept the reserved value and optional coverage marker when handling these responses.
